Job Description:
  • Support and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS as the primary cloud platform, with exposure to Azure.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS/Aurora, S3, Route 53, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tools.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Support highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments.
  • Configure and maintain networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, NACLs, DNS, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, least-privilege access, secrets management, encryption, and secure deployment practices.
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications, configure alerts, and help investigate and resolve availability, performance, and security issues.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents and contribute to post-incident improvements.
  • Write automation and operational scripts using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational work through automation and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, product, and security teams to support application and infrastructure requirements.
  • Contribute to improving deployment processes, operational standards, reliability, and developer experience.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date runbooks, architecture documentation, infrastructure documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Stay current with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and emerging infrastructure trends.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on production experience with AWS.
  • Practical experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure and supporting production environments.
  • Working knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, Route 53, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN/IPsec, firewalls, security groups, and TLS.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, least privilege, secrets management, access controls, and secure infrastructure design.
  • Ability to write automation scripts using Bash and/or Python.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and communicate technical issues clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Nice to Have

  • AWS certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with observability and security platforms such as Datadog, Coralogix, Rapid7, or SentinelOne.
  • Exposure to microservices architectures and API-driven applications.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with incident management, on-call practices, and production reliability.
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles.
  • Experience working in an AI/ML or SaaS environment.
